Our
Impact
OUR PROJECTS
We take a long-term view - not much can be achieved by short, one-off projects.
We build long relationships with the organisations we support, allowing both them and us to learn from successes and failures and to develop sustainable change.
We provide financial support to NGOs, social businesses and private companies (provided any profit generated during the lifetime of our grant funding is reinvested in the business) – but typically not directly to public authorities.
For the Vitol Foundation the ideal partnership is an open and transparent collaborative effort between equals. We respond to ideas proposed by our partners. The work we support must show the potential to be transformational and impactful, effective and efficient, sustainable, scalable and replicable.
In return, the Vitol Foundation aspires to be responsive and flexible and to understand our partners’ evolving needs.
Our current partners are listed below.
